Alheit Cartology 2017

Description

“This wine has a great sense of balance. It’s my personal favourite Cartology bottling to date. The new parcels seem to have added dimensions to it – both depth and height. The nose, more than ever, shows striking high toned citrus and honeysuckle, apple, some fynbos and thatch notes. The palate is truly vibrant, ringing with flavour and movement, sweet and saline tug-o-war. It finishes long, after which you die from sensory overload.” Chris Alheit

The Chenin comes from parcels in the Skurfberg, Piekenierskloof, Perdeberg, Bottelary, False Bay and Tygerberg. The Semillon comes from the old La Colline block in Franschhoek.
