Botanica – Arboretum 2016

This Cabernet Sauvignon dominant Bordeaux-style blend has lovely blackberry, black cherry, and tobacco notes on the nose. Integrated oak is present in the form of dark chocolate aromas. On the palate, this bright and vivacious wine has layered and lingering ripe red fruit, earthy, and chocolate flavours on the palate. The wine is medium-bodied, but its velvety tannins and length create the impression of a much bigger wine worthy of its main blending component. Ginny Povall – Botanica Wines
