Botanica – The Mary Delany Collection Chenin Blanc 2017

Description

The characterful Henk Laing supplies the grapes for this world class Chenin Blanc from Citrusdal Mountain. Focused, pithy, taut and intense, with very subtle oak, pear and Braeburn apple and an incredible, lip-smacking mineral core. 96/100 Tim Atkin MW

A light butter yellow hue hints toward the subtlety of the wine. Apricot notes and a dash of minerality are supported by oak flavours such as biscuit, caramel, and toasted aromas. Ginny Povall – Botanica
