Lýsa Verdelho 2019

Really complete nose already. An utter charmer with broad fruit and enough acidity to add zest. Confident and long. Exciting.  Jancis Robinson

It’s a rare thing indeed, with only a few thousand bottles made and fewer still likely to make their way to these shores. It’s salty and mineral with citrus fruit, candle wax and a brisk, immediate acidity. A great late summer serve.  Chris Wilson

Captivating, with lemon and honeysuckle, embraced by beautiful saltiness and extremely well judged acidity. Weighty and a sense of purity.  Guillaume Nell

Lýsa: Old Norse for ”to bring in the light; to proclaim.”

Guillaume Nell manages another farm but always loved these vines, planted at the beginning of the 21st century not that far from the ocean on the Helderberg.
