Description
A rich and elegant wine that is a true expression of its unique terroir. Cabernet Sauvignon is the primary grape in this blend of classic Bordeaux varieties. Luscious layers of dark fruit and berry flavours and well-integrated tannins. Textured with persistent length.
Vinification
50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cabernet France, 15% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec are the constituent components of this blend, hence the name ‘Cinq’.
The grapes are grown on ancient, decomposed granite located in the cool region of the Stellenbosch Winelands. The grapes are vinified separately and blended with meticulous care. Fermented dry on the skins followed by 22 months in French oak.
